BOULDER, Colo. – The Pacific men's golf program secured a ninth-place nod on Wednesday at the Mark Simpson Invitational, hosted by Colorado at Boulder Country Club.
The Tigers (+12) held their ground throughout the tournament in the middle of the pack, culminating to a placement amongst the top ten following the final round's results. Arkansas State won the team field while Long Beach State and host Colorado rounded out the podium.
Junior
Will Tanaka represented the leader of the Tigers this week, posting a one-under par score and securing placement amongst the top quarter of the individuals participating. Tanaka tied for the second-best score in the second round, which was a five-under par in that frame on Tuesday.
Junior
Leonas Jung utilized a key third round of one-under par to elevate his two-day score, earning a middle-of-the-pack individual placement.
Freshman
Aiden Tiet tied Jung with a five-over score to cap off his third tournament in the Pacific lineup. Junior
Felix Bouchard and junior Brad Smolinksi rounded out the Tigers competing in Boulder.
Pacific returns home to host the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational at the Reserve at Spanos Park, beginning Monday, Oct. 12 through Wednesday, Oct. 14.
