SEASIDE, Calif. – Riding the momentum of a historic championship performance on its home course, the Pacific men's golf program looks to close out the fall portion of its 2026-27 season on a high note when it competes at the Saint Mary's Invitational, hosted by Saint Mary's from Monday through Wednesday at Bayonet Golf Course.
The Tigers enter their final fall tournament following a memorable showing at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, where they captured their second consecutive team championship at The Reserve at Spanos Park. Pacific finished the three-day competition at 20-under par, securing first place among an 18-team field.
The victory marked the first time since the 1975-76 seasons that Pacific claimed back-to-back home tournament championships, adding another milestone under 12th-year head coach
John Cook.
Felix Bouchard highlighted the Tigers' championship performance, capturing his second consecutive Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational individual title. The Montreal, Quebec native finished at 11-under par (205), highlighted by a five-under-par final round to secure the individual crown.
Will Tanaka also delivered a standout performance for the Tigers, finishing tied for third individually at eight-under par. Tanaka opened the tournament with a four-under-par 68 and followed with a one-under-par 71 in the second round.
Guillaume Paquette finished at even par, while
Aiden Tiet and
Bradley Smolinski contributed to Pacific's championship effort.
Liam Eyer will compete this week as Pacific's lone individual. He carded a one-under par last time out.
Pacific now turns its attention to another opportunity for success at the Saint Mary's Invitational, a tournament the Tigers previously won during the 2024-25 campaign.
The three-day event features an 18-team field, including West Coast Conference opponents Saint Mary's, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Seattle, alongside programs such as California, Oregon, Washington and Washington State.
The tournament will feature 54 holes of stroke play, with 18 holes scheduled each day on the par-72 Bayonet Golf Course. Competition begins Monday with tee times each day starting at approximately at 8:20 a.m. Live scoring throughout the Saint Mary's Invitational can be found
