BOULDER, Colo. – The Pacific men's golf program meets the midway mark of the fall campaign, teeing off in the Mark Simpson Invitational, hosted by Colorado at Boulder Country Club from Sept. 29-30.

The Tigers reach the higher altitude following a strong, runner-up finish last week at the CDA National Reserve Invitational in Idaho. This week's 17-team field showcases another early season test for Pacific's squad to continue to make its mark in the fall.

Junior Will Tanaka takes the top spot for the Tigers for head coach John Cook's lineup. Tanaka finished in the top four last week with a six-under par to gain ground on Pacific's score.

Junior Felix Bouchard holds down the second out of the five-man group. Bouchard won a pair of tournaments last year individually and looks to steer in the right direction before Pacific hosts its home tournament in which he won in 2025.

Like Tanaka, junior Bradley Smolinski also secured a top five placement at the CDA National Reserve Invitational with a four-under score.

Freshman Aiden Tiet and junior Leonas Jung round out the lineup for Pacific. Jung checks in to the lineup for the first time this year after competing as an individual last time out.

The Mark Simpson Invitational is a two-day invitational with the first two rounds on Tuesday, followed by the final round on Wednesday. Live scoring for the tournament can be found here. Tee times for the opening round will begin at 7:15 a.m.
