BREMERTON, Wash. – The Pacific men's golf team finished the second round of the WCC Championship in ninth place after shooting a four-over-par 292 at Gold Mountain – Olympic Course on Friday.
After the first two rounds, the Tigers have accumulated an overall score of 15-over-par 591 (299-292). BYU jumped up the leaderboard into first place with an 18-under-par 558 (285-273), while San Francisco and Pepperdine complete the top three teams heading into the tournament's final round.
Leonardo Rigamonti led the Tigers during the second round, carding a one-over-par 73 in the second round. After two rounds, Rigamonti is in a tie for 13th on the player leaderboard with a one-under-par 143 (70-73).
Maverick Pavletich moved up four spots on the player leaderboard, shooting an even-par 72. After a decent front-nine, Pavletich completed the final nine holes with two birdies and an eagle on the 14th hole to finish the day in a tie for 24th with a three-over-par 147 (75-72).
Pacific returns for the final round of the WCC Championship on Saturday, April 29, teeing off at 7:30 a.m.
