STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific beach volleyball team travels to Santa Monica to compete in the West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament starting Thursday, April 27, at Ocean Park Beach.
The Tigers (0-20) enter the tournament as the seventh seed and will face off against #19 Pepperdine at 10:30 a.m. to open the day. Depending on the outcome of that contest, the Tigers will play Saint Mary's or San Francisco later in the afternoon.
The Tigers are coming off two dual matches, concluding the regular season at the Stanford Tournament, facing off against nationally ranked California and Stanford.
The Waves (16-12) are currently on a four-match losing streak, falling to TCU, Washington, and defending conference champion LMU twice in the last two weeks. Entering the conference tournament as the second seed for the second year in a row, the Waves are three-time conference champions, earning the title in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
