STANFORD, Calif. – The Pacific beach volleyball team concluded the regular season Saturday afternoon, falling to #9 California, 5-0, and #10 Stanford, 5-0, at the Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium.

The Tigers (0-20) battled the nationally ranked opponents throughout the afternoon, with multiple pairings playing for the first time together.
Camdyn Albrecht, competing at the first doubles flight for the first time this season, teamed up with
Hania Taduran and grabbed 23 games against the Golden Bears' (26-7) Sierra Caffo and Liz Waters-Leiga. The duo ultimately fell to 21-10, 21-13 but was the most successful pairing during the match.
Stanford 5, Pacific 0
The fourth and fifth doubles teams came through against the Cardinal (26-10), narrowly pulling off upset wins.
Abby Miller and
Megan Nishimura battled to a 21-16, 21-15 decision to Line Andersson and Daria Gusarova, while
Joli Ruby and
Miranda Baptista fell 21-14, 21-18 to Zeena Khazendar and Kylee Matheson.
Pacific returns to action on Thursday, April 27, when it competes in the WCC Championships in Santa Monica.
