STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific men's tennis team (3-8, 0-1) has its first home WCC matches this week against San Francisco (2-9, 0-1) and Santa Clara (8-5, 0-1).
Friday will be Staff Appreciation Day at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. There will be pizza available for fans at the event.Â
Saturday is Alumni Recognition Day, as former Pacific tennis alum will be honored before the start of the match. There will be free pizza for fans and a food truck stationed in Stagg Plaza for fans. Fans above the age of 21 will be able to take advantage of the beer garden in the cafe of the complex. The beer garden is cash only, but a credit card can be used at the food truck to buy drink tickets.Â
Pacific is returning home after playing three contests and picking up one win in Florida. In their 4-3 win against Stetson, the Tigers dropped the doubles point but came back and ultimately defeated Stetson, taking four of six singles matches. Juniors

Tiago Silva clinched the match win for Pacific in an intense three-set match in the #4 singles. After winning the first set 6-3, he dropped the next 1-6 but quickly turned that around and won the last set 6-3 to secure the contest win for Pacific.
San Francisco is coming from a four-game road trip to Idaho, where they won only one contest. USF picked up a 4-0 shutout win against George Fox to end their road trip.
Santa Clara is coming off a 6-1 win against UNLV, where the Broncos swept the singles competition.
The week's first match will occur at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Courts on Friday, March 24, at 1 p.m., against San Francisco. The Tigers will then take on Santa Clara on Sat. March 25, with the first serve at 1 p.m.
