Men’s and Women’s Swimming Get Ready For MPSF Championships

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's (3-5) and women's (4-7) swim teams are traveling to the campus of Utah Tech to compete in the annual MPSF Championships. For the first time in the history of the MPSF Championships, the swimming portion of the meet will be held outside of California. It will take place over a four-day span from February 15 to February 18.

The event features eight men's teams and 10 women's teams. In addition to Pacific, the competitors with two teams include BYU, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Hawaii, Cal Poly, Incarnate Word and CSU Bakersfield. The UC Davis and San Diego women's teams complete the field.

On Wednesday, events will start at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT, while the three days following will have prelims begin at 10 a.m. MT/9 a.m. PT and finals at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT.

"After our conference results last year, we came into this season with pure determination to be better than last year," said Head Coach Katelyne Herrington. "So far, we have already proven that. Going into conference, I believe we are in a great spot to continue showing how much stronger we are as a team."

Fans can access each session of the preliminary and finals for the four days of the MPSF Swimming Championships through a daily or all-meet pay-per-view option found on the GOLS'MPSF Championship event page.
