Swim & Dive Hits Water at UNLV Invite

LAS VEGAS – The Pacific swim and dive program concludes the 2025 portion of its schedule with the UNLV Invite, hosted by UNLV at Buchanan Natatorium from Monday, Dec. 15 to Wednesday, Dec. 17.

The Tigers are returning from a three-week break and are ready to jump back into competition following finals week on campus. The UNLV Invite will feature seven programs, including UNLV, Pacific, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Tulane, Wyoming, Cal Baptist and Colorado Mesa University.

On the men's side, sophomore Nate Rasmussen looks to lead the charge as he has been a steady presence all year throughout the first four months of the season. On the women's side, the veteran swimmers of senior Lilliana Noriega, senior Annelise Thomas and Kate Geiger look to turn heads in Las Vegas.
Junior Lexxi Chavez will take part in the diving events, which includes the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.

Nearing the end of the calendar year, the Tigers rank fifth in the men's dual points category in the MPSF with UNLV as the frontrunner. The women sit in ninth place with Northern Colorado leading the 11-team conference.

For the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Tigers take on the mid-season competition within the pools of the UNLV Invite. Last year, the men and women finished in fifth and sixth place respectively. The Tigers' best finish at the UNLV Invite came during the 2021-22 season when the Tigers' men's and women's squads placed second and third place.

All three days of events will begin with preliminaries at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m. to wrap up each day. The UNLV Invite will be streamed live on YouTube page of UNLV Athletics.
