ST. GEORGE, UTAH – The Pacific swim and dive program opened up with relay events following the first night of the Trailblazer Invitational, hosted by Utah Tech at Human Performance Center Pool.
The first of the four daily sessions featured the men's and women's 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay, positioning the Tigers with 116 points in a tie for third place with San Diego State. UC San Diego holds the team lead of the eight participating programs with 266 points.

Lilliana Noriega earned 12 points in the women's 200 medley relay as the A team clocked in a total time of 1:43.84.
In the men's version of the event, Pacific placed top three for 32 points with senior
Ethan Cole pacing the Tigers' group of four as the final leg of his team's 1:28.76.
For the 800 freestyle relay, Pacific collected eight points on the women's side while the men picked up 30 points with their fourth-place finish by the A team.
The Trailblazer Invitational resumes tomorrow, beginning at 9 a.m. PST/10 a.m. MST with the preliminaries and at 4 p.m. PST/5 p.m. MST. There is no live stream of events this week.
