Trio of Tigers Win Heats on Day Two at Trailblazer Invitational

ST. GEORGE, UTAH – The Pacific swim and dive program completed day two of competition on Thursday at the 2025 Trailblazer Invitational, hosted by Utah Tech at the Human Performance Center Pool.

Through 12 events, the Tigers currently sit in eighth place with 44 points on the women's side while the men hold third place with 214 points.

A trio of Tigers were the first finishers in their respective heats this evening as sophomore Dante Dentino, senior Lilliana Noriega and senior Annelise Thomas highlighted the day two performances by Pacific.

In the B final of the men's 500 yard freestyle, Dentino clocked in a time of 4:37.43 for the first finisher of that heat to secure nine points.

In the D final of the women's 200 yard IM, Thomas recorded a time of 2:07.15, shaving off over a second from her preliminary time from the morning session.

Noriega stood out as the Tigers' top performer in the C final of the women's 50 yard freestyle, finishing first in that heat with a time of 23.49.

The Tigers look ahead to day three of the Trailblazer Invitational tomorrow, beginning at 9 a.m. PST/10 a.m. MST with the preliminaries and the finals at 4 p.m. PST/5 p.m. MST. There is no live stream of events this week.
