STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team rounded out their fall competitive season at home hosting the Pacific Invitational over the weekend. Five Tigers competed for Pacific as they mocked head-to-head events with multiple schools from the Northwest.

Opening the first day on Friday, Nov. 3, the Tigers faced Portland State in doubles. Senior

Terence Das teamed up to take on Andrea Brignacca and Jan Semerak, but the Tigers fell 6-2. Graduate student

Andre Rodeia faced Jonas Mathiasen and Simon Kuszynski, but fell to the Vikings 6-3.

The four Tigers returned later that day for singles matches against Saint Mary's. Amar collected the 6-4, 6-4 victory over Carlos Ramos, while Das took down Diego Jarry 6-4, 7-5. Rodeia faced Mathis Moysan, defeating the Gael 6-1, 6-1. Saini took Thibaud Maxant to three sets, but fell to the Gael 6

On Saturday, the Tigers opened the day facing Cal Poly in doubles. Das and Amar found their rhythm in the 6-3 decision over the Mustangs, while Rodeia and Saini fell 1-6.Â

The Tigers returned to face Cal Poly and San Francisco in some singles bouts. Das moved to 2-0 in singles on the weekend after defeating San Francisco's Asaf Friedler 6-3, 6-4. Rodeia also moved to 2-0 after sweeping Cal Poly's Christopher Koeberle 6-0, 6-0. Saini split the first two days after downing Cal Poly's Sam Ashbrook 6-1, 3-6, 6-2. Amar also went 1-1 in singles, falling to San Francisco's Giovanni Branchetti, 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.Â

On the final day of the invite, Das remained undefeated in his singles matches after downing Santa Clara's Alexander Watanabe Eriksson 6-2, 6-2. Rodeia moved to 3-0 on the weekend after defeating Cal Poly's Ashbrook 6-2, 6-2. Saini improved to 2-1 on the weekend after a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 decision over Cal Poly's Koeberle.Â

Pacific returns to action at the turn of the new year as they take the lessons they've learned this fall into 2024. With a lot of positive momentum established the past two months, the Tigers are poised for more success in the new year.Â
