BERKELEY, Calif.- The Pacific men's tennis team qualified four Tigers to next week's ITA Super Regional, after making another impressive showing this fall. The Tigers collected 15 wins over the course of three days and look to carry their momentum into next weekend.
Junior

Peter Alam qualified in doubles, having gone 3-0 over the weekend. Later on Sunday, sophomores
Terence Das and
Tiago Silva each qualified to represent Pacific in singles.
Sophomores Das and Silva jump started the weekend for the Tigers with a 8-2 doubles win over Santa Clara's Arjun Honappa and Matthew Rodriguez. Alam and Trainauskas got the first round bye in the round of 32.
Silva went perfect on the day, collecting two wins in singles to advance to Saturday's round of 16. He moved through Santa Clara's Alexander Watanabe Erikksson 6-4, 6-4, then Nevada's Youssef Kadiri 6-3, 6-4 later that afternoon.
Alam, Trainauskas, and Das all had first round byes in singles on Friday. Das followed Silva's lead, advancing past Nevada's Loris Zisswiller 6-3, 4-2 ret. to the round of 16, while Alam moved past California's Alexander Aney 6-1, 6-4. Trainauskas fought competitively with California's John Kim, but fell 6-2, 6-4.
Senior
Andre Rodeia made his first appearance this fall and swiftly collected a win over Saint Mary's Felipe Rincon 6-2, 6-2. He moved to Friday's singles round of 32, where his run was cut short by California's Tim Stepanov 6-3, 6-2.
On Saturday, Silva and Das continued to shine, collecting two more doubles wins. They took down the Saint Mary's tandem of Diego Jarry and Thibault Maxant 8-3. The Tiger duo later took care of UC Davis' Antreas Djakouris and Constantinos Djakouris 8-7(5).
Silva and Das went perfect on Saturday in all of their appearances. After a successful morning for doubles, Silva and Das collected two more wins for the Tigers in singles. Silva moved past Stanford's Filip Kolasinski 7-5,6-2, while Das took down San Francisco's Paul Theate 6-3, 7-5. Both made Sunday's quarterfinal.
Alam and Trainauskas found similar success in doubles on Saturday. As a tandem, they defeated Saint Mary's Felipe Rincon and Liam Carpenter 8-6 to move to the quarterfinals. That same day they met and promptly took down Nevada's Loris Zisswiller and Remy Tregoures 8-5.
On Sunday, two Tiger duos appeared in the doubles finals. Alam and Trainauskas quickly downed UC Davis' Luke Bollinger and Ryan Torres 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the ITA Super Regional next week. Das and Silva faced California tandem Tim Stepanov and Jonathan Irwanto, but the Golden Bears edged out the Tiger duo 7-5, 6-7(7), 8-10.
Das and Silva returned later for their singles semifinal matches. Silva revisited California's Stepanov and quickly took care of the Golden Bear 6-2, 6-2. Das followed suit after facing Irwanto once more, downing the Golden Bear 6-3, 6-3. Both Das and Silva advanced to next week's ITA Super Regional in singles.

Robin Goodman shared about the weekend, "To have four players qualifying for super regionals this year is a great achievement and a major step forward for our program."
