FRESNO, Calif. - The #16 Pacific Women's Water Polo team traveled to Fresno State Saturday to take on the #8 Bulldogs. After a hard-fought game, going into overtime, the Tigers fell to the Bulldogs 10-7.
"I'm really proud of how the team battled today," said Head Coach James Graham. "We jumped on them early behind contributions from many different players and had a top ten team on their heels at home. We will learn from our mistakes and get better moving forward."
At the end of four quarters, both teams were tied at seven. Fresno State scored two goals in the fifth and one in the sixth to get the win.
Goal scorers for the Tigers were senior Brianna Utas with one, freshman Hila Futorian with two, senior Emma Myall with two and graduate student Mariana Duarte with two.
