Biography

2023 (Graduate Student)
Gained a season-high of three goals in five games for the Tigers, including the wins against Santa Clara and Harvard. She recorded three field blocks in the game against Indiana and she currently has seven field blocks this season. Utas currently has a shot efficiency of 41.1 percent.


2022 (Senior) 
Played in all 25 games earning 22 goals, 7 assists, and 39 steals. Named a GCC All-Conference Honorable Mention. Ranked first in the conference in field blocks with 23. Ranked second in the conference in steals and steals per game with 1.6. Tallied four goals and a career-high six steals against #20 San Diego State on April 9. Recorded three field blocks on April 8 against Concordia-Irvine. 

2021 (Junior)
Played in all 15 games of the 2021 season. Scored 15 goals on 57 shots receiving a total of 25 points. Racked up 15 steals throughout the season. Scored twice in the GCC semifinals against the UC San Diego Aztecs. 

2020 (Sophomore)
Led the team in scoring with 35 points including 22 goals with 13 assists through 16 games before the season was suspended. Added 16 steals and 17 field blocks. Recorded hat tricks against Michigan (1/26) and UC Davis (2/16). 

2019 (Freshman) 
Tallied 13 goals, 13 steals, three assists and five field blocks for Pacific to earn All-Golden Coast Conference Freshman Team honors. Competed in 18 games for UOP and scored in each of the first eight games of the season. Joined Clara Vulpisi as an All-GCC Freshman recipient, marking the first time two Tigers have earned All-GCC Freshman honors. 

High School/Club/International
Utas is a six-time Canadian National team member, winning gold at the 2018 U19 Junior Pan American Games and bronze at the 2018 Intercontinental Cup in New Zealand with the Senior National Team. Also competed at two Youth Pan American Games, winning silver in 2015 and gold in 2016. Played three years of club, one with Fraser Valley Club and two with Pacific Storm. Won U16 Nationals and was named tournament MVP with Fraser. Also won bronze and silver at the U18 and U19 Nationals level. 

Personal 
Daughter of Linda and Don. Has three siblings, Brett, Brittney and Brady. Utas is majoring in health and exercise science.
