FRESNO, Calif. - The #16 Pacific Women's Water Polo team (7-9) travels to Fresno on Saturday to take on the #8 Fresno State Bulldogs (11-7).
The Tigers are 3-2 against the Bulldogs overall. The two teams last met in April 2021, and the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 13-10.
"The team is excited to take the momentum we have built on the road against a tough conference opponent," said Head Coach James Graham. "Fresno State has some talented players and has earned its top ten ranking, but we are definitely focused and looking forward to the challenge."
The Tigers have outscored their last three opponents 45-18. In those three games, senior Emma Myall had five goals and five assists, senior Lucy Davis had three goals and six assists, and graduate student Mariana Duarte had eight goals.
Duarte is fifth in the GCC for goals with 39. Redshirt junior goalkeeper Clara Vulpisi is second in the conference for saves with 138.
