RENO, Nev. – Playing against the Wolf Pack for the second time in eight days, the result was the same for the Tigers as Nevada won 6-1.
The Tigers were swept in doubles, as Nevada won #1 6-3, #2 6-2, #3 6-0. The two teams headed into singles with Nevada ahead, 1-0.
The Wolf Pack won the first five singles matches, all in two sets, before
Peter Alam got the Tigers on the scoreboard with a (4-6, 7-5, 1
10-0
6) victory. It is Alam's fifth singles win this season.
The Tigers start WCC play next week with road trips to Santa Clara and San Francisco.
