Personal Bests Aplenty for Women's Track at Aggie Open

DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific women's track team took part in the Aggie Open Saturday morning, hosted by UC Davis at the Woody Wilson Track.
 
Throughout the event, multiple athletes earned top finishes, including Camryn Scully and Ryanne Molenaar, earning top 10 finishes in the 400-meter race. Scully finished sixth and ran a personal best of 59.88 in the women's finals, while Molenaar finished the race in 10th place with a time of 1:00.41.
 
Led by Alyssa Hershey, the Tigers had four runners compete in the 3000-meter finals. Hershey earned a second-place finish in her section with a time of 10:18.32, while Emma Winkler and Sophie Pazzo finished the race in sixth and eighth, respectively.
 
Ella LeRoy was the highlighted runner for the Tigers in the short distance events, earning a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:29.05. The freshman from Chicago, Ill., also competed in the 1500-meter race and earned a second-place finish in her section with a personal best time of 5:11.44.
 
Brenna Crump took part in the discus throw for the second time this season and recorded a personal best as she earned a ninth-place finish with a distance of 24.00 meters.
 
Pacific returns to action on Saturday, March 19 as the Tigers travel to compete in the Hornet Invite, hosted by Sacramento State.
