Iosua’s Steeplechase Win Highlights Pacific’s Performance at West Coast Relays

FRESNO, Calif. – Highlighted by freshman Daphne Iosua's performance, the Pacific men's and women's track program competed for two days at the West Coast Relays, hosted by Fresno State at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Iosua captivated the Tigers with a first-place nod in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, clocking a time of 11:21.45 in that event.

In the women's 1,500-meter run, sophomore Angelina Lione posted a runner-up finish with a time of 4:34.23.

The men's 5,000-meter run also a runner-up finish for the Tigers as junior Samuel Lanham crossed the finish line with a time of 14:55.87.

A top three finish came for junior Logan Evans, who competed in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, completing his race at 9:28.32.

Up next, the Tigers will run in a pair of events next week at the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic from Friday, April 3 to Saturday, April 4.
