STOCKTON, Calif. – The Tigers are heading to Sacramento State to compete in the Golden State Invitational. It is a two-day tournament, but the Tigers will only be competing on day one as they will take on Hawaii and Nevada.
Hawaii has started the season 4-1 and has only given up two points in their four wins. The only loss for the Rainbow Warriors was against UNLV to start the season.
The Wolfpack is 9-4 to start the season, including their most recent 4-2 win over Saint Mary's. Before the win, the Wolfpack had suffered back-to-back losses against BYU and Utah.
The tournament will play clinch, so once a team reaches four points, the match will end, which means every match might not finish.
After winning three straight, the Tigers will look to bounce back from a two-match losing streak. The Tigers will look to improve in doubles as they have not won the doubles point in four straight matches.
After struggling to start the season, the Tigers have shined in singles, winning 12 singles matches in the past four games.
