Tigers fall to Aggies but record some strong first-place times

STOCKTON, Calif. – In its final regular-season meet of 2021-22, the Pacific Women's Swim Team faced UC Davis. Home pool advantage rang true for the Aggies with a 187-107 win over the Tigers.

In individual races, Jadyn Phillips won the 1000 Free by almost six seconds, clocking a time of 10:53.50, with the second-place time coming in at 10:59.77. Kelly Kermoian took first place in the 200 Back with a time of 2:07.81. In the 200 IM, Paige Sondgeroth took first place with a time of 2:11.26.

Pacific won the 400 Free Relay with a team of Ashtyne Topie, Allie Emery, Kelly Kermoian and Ellie Macphail, and a time of 3:33.71.

After the 200 Medley Relay, Pacific trailed but quickly made it 18-all after the 1000 Free, thanks to Phillips's first-place time. The Aggies won 11 individual events following, making it tough for the Tigers to come back.

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships will be the Tigers' next stop, February 16-19. Swimming events will take place at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park.
