STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific swim and dive program has announced the newest addition to its staff, welcoming Kenya Meyer as the diving coach ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Meyer, a native of Bozeman, Montana, recently competed in diving and was named a two-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Diver of the Year the last two seasons while at Colorado Mesa.

"Kenya brings the passion, determination, and vision to lead Pacific diving into its next chapter," Pacific head coach Katelyne Herrington said. "She is ready to take ownership, build a team of her own, and create a program centered on athlete development, strong relationships, and competitive success. We are excited to see her build something special at Pacific!"

In last year's NCAA Division II Diving National Championships, Meyer was the runner-up in the one-meter diving and a fourth-place finisher in the three-meter diving. Meyer is eager to get started at Pacific and grow the diving program to new heights.

"I am extremely excited to lead this resurging dive program here at Pacific," Meyer said. "Having the support of Pacific Athletics, I will not waste this opportunity to build the legacy of Pacific diving and enhance the overall swimming and diving team."

Meyer is the RMAC Championship & El Pomar Natatorium record holder in the one-meter dive (520.95) and the three-meter dive (541.70). The six-time RMAC champion excelled to earning accolades and school records each year in college, culminating to the one-meter record and three-meter record at CMU. Meyer was a five-time RMAC Diver of the Week, including twice during the 2025 campaign.

Meyer earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Colorado Mesa in 2026.

Meyer completes the Pacific swimming and diving staff for the upcoming season, along with Herrington and assistant coaches Tim Buisson and Nate LeRoy.
