STOCKTON, Calif. - On Friday afternoon at Raney Sand Volleyball Courts, the University of the Pacific Beach Volleyball team defeated San Francisco, 4-1 to complete the regular season. The Tigers improved to 4-6 overall, avenging an earlier loss this season to USF.
Pacific won the first three matches, and clinched the dual match victory when the Tigers' pair of
Jenny Todd and
Jadyn Tubbs won their fifth straight match and seventh of the season. After clinching, the Tigers picked up one more point in Flight #2 where
Gabby Leo and
Sedona Sherman won in two sets.
NOTABLE STATS
- Todd and Tubbs have won five straight matches and seven overall as a pair.
- Lucy Carpenter and Hania Taduran won their second match as a pair on Friday.
- Friday's contest was a rematch from April 9, where the Dons won 3-2 during the WCC Mid-Season Invitational in Santa Cruz.
- Pacific completes the regular season at 4-6 overall and 1-4 against WCC opponents.
