BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Pacific men's swimming team traveled to the John L. Hillman Memorial Aquatic Center to face CSU Bakersfield on Saturday.
CSU Bakersfield men won the dual meet by a 180.5-97.5 margin with the Roadrunners winning 13 of 16 events as Kristofer Marijan Rogic and Loren Gillilan won three and two events, respectively.
The Tigers were led by two first-place finishes and a third-place finish by
Mitchell Hopper, who was the first to the wall in the 50 (21.42) and 100-yard freestyle (45.96). Hopper was third in the 100-yard butterfly (50.56).

Dylan Parente and
Aidan Vollmar each had two second-place finishes on the afternoon. Parente was second in the 50-yard (21.43) and 200-yard freestyle (1:43.32). Vollmar was second in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.12) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.03). His effort in the 200-yard breaststroke was a season-best mark.
In relay events, the Tigers were victorious in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:24.16) and second in the 400-yard medley relay (3:27.77).
Next, Pacific will resume its training before returning to the pool for the UNLV Invite on Dec. 17-19.
