Biography

2024-25 (Senior)
Set the team's top time this season in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.41 at the Trailblazer Invitational. Achieved a personal best in the 100 freestyle at 43.39 during the MPSF Championships, setting the top time for the team this season. Set team top time for the season in 200 freestyle with a time of 1:36.24 at Trailblazer Invitational. Established a personal best in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:30.10 against UC Davis, setting top time for the team this season. Set a personal best for the 100 butterfly with a time of 47.40 during the MPSF Championships. Competed in the CSCAA National Invitational Championship scoring 751.2 points and achieving a personal best for the 50 butterfly with a time of 21.86. Awarded MPSF Athlete of the Week (Jan. 22). Named MPSF Men's Swimmer of the Year after scoring 27 individual points toward the Tigers first-ever MPSF Championship, tied for the most in the conference meet. Named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.

2023-24 (Junior)
Set the top time on the team in the 100 freestyle with a 43.50 at the MPSF Championship. Achieved the top time on the team in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:35.99 at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship. Was the team's fastest butterflyer, earning 47.40 in the 100 and 21.86 in 50. Finished with the team's fastest time in the 200 individual medley at 1:47.07. Named All-MPSF First team after placing third in the 100 freestyle at the MPSF Championship. Recieved MPSF All-Academic honors.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
Against the top ranked Cal, finished second in the 100 free. At the MPSF placed 11th in the 100 free with a time of 44.22 and was a part of the relay team that placed 5th with a time of 1:19.92. At the 2023 CSCAA National Invitational Championship was a part of the team that finished 12th in the 200 free relay, and swam the second fastest 100 IM in school history with a 49.96. Was named a 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-academic scholar-athlete.

2021-22 (Freshman)  
At MPSF, finished 12th in the 100 fly. Scored in the 200 IM, finishing 15th (1:51.22). Swam on four relays that placed, including fifth place in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Also swam the fly leg in the sixth-place 200 medley relay and the seventh-place 400 medley relay. At UNLV Invite, finished second in the 200 IM (1:51.16). In the CSU Bakersfield dual, won the 50 free (21.42) and 100 free (45.96). At Pacific Invite, finished second in the 100 fly to teammate Noyes, leading to a 1-2 Tiger finish.

High School 
Hopper graduated from Clackamas High School. Scholastic All-American and two-time athlete of the year. 

Personal 
Son of Tracey and Eric. Has one sibling Mason. Hopper is majoring in mechanical engineering.
