The Pacific men's swimming team took second at the Pacific Invite on Saturday at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool. The Tigers were victorious in two events, second in six and third in six as they posted 188 points. Cal won the team event with 11 event victories and 244 points.
RELAY EVENTS
• The meet saw Pacific start with a third-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay (3:26.34).
• Led off by individual event winner
Dylan Parente and anchored by its other individual event winner
David Noyes, the Tigers took second in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:04.17) to wrap up the meet.
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
• The first win on the day came as the Tigers'
Dylan Parente was the first to the wall in 1:41.78 to edge a pair of Bears in a time of 1:41.78. The victory for Parente saw him come back in the final 50 yards for the victory.
• Parente was third in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.68, just .07 out of first place honors.

David Noyes got the other event victory for Pacific as he led a 1-2 finish in the 100-yard butterfly. Noyes was victorious in 50.31 ahead of
Mitchell Hopper, who finished in 50.45.
• The Tigers'
Aidan Scott and
Jonathan Tan were second (4:17.41) and third (4:23.60), respectively in the 400-yard individual medley.
• Pacific got a pair of second-place finishes from
Richard Lewis in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:15.91),
Alex Young in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.57) and
Alex Kurotori in the 500-yard freestyle (4:49.31).
• Noyes was third in the 100-yard freestyle (46.56) and
Aidan Scott was third in the 200-yard backstroke (1:54.02) for Pacific.

AJ Dolan was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.00), plus Leland Baltazar and
Walker Wilson were 4th (52.31)and 5th (52.54), respectively in the 100-yard backstroke.
