CORVALLIS, Ore. - Darkness came over the Trysting Tree Golf Club before the second round of the Oregon State Invitational could be completed. As a result, the Pacific men's golf team and the field were only able to finish its opening round on Monday with the second and third/final round to be completed on Tuesday.
With one round in the books, the Pacific men's golf team is currently tied for 11th with an opening round of 300. Washington leads the 15-team field with a 276.
On the individual side, Pacific is led by
Petr Janik, who shot a 72 (+1) and is tied for 25th along with six others. Four strokes separate the remainder of the Tigers' lineup including
Leonardo Rigamonti - 75 (+4),
Riley Killip - 76 (+5),
Griffin Long - 77 (+6),
Maverick Pavletich - 78 (+7).
Round two is expected to continue play on Tuesday morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. PT.
