Box Score SPOKANE, Wash. – The Pacific Tigers fell to the Gonzaga Bulldogs 9-0 Saturday night to fall to 0-2 in WCC play. Gonzaga scored nine runs in the second inning, the only scoring of the game to get the win. Pacific is 8-9 on the year now, while Gonzaga is 9-9.
Will Lydon worked six innings for the Tigers but took the loss due to Gonzaga's big second inning and is now 2-2 on the year. Ed O'Bannon III threw two scoreless innings in relief for the Tigers, matching the longest outing of his young career.
Ryan Schalch, Lucas Halstead, and Jimmy Boras all managed hits in the game for the Tigers. Boras also drew a walk in the game, reaching base in two of his three plate appearances.
Preston Moebius made his first start of the season at third base as well, having previously appeared at shortstop and first base.

- Boras has hits in each of his last three games, hitting .600 in that time.
