Biography

Boras saw action in all four years with the Tigers. He finished with a career .229/.292/.269 driving in 15 runs and scoring 19. Boras showed speed on the bases and was a reliable outfielder finishing with a career fielding percentage of .992.

Senior (2017):
During his final season with the Tigers, Boras saw action in 27 games recording 16 hits and three doubles. Boras registered six RBI and scored seven runs. Helped Pacific defeat UC Davis, 3-2 after he hit a single down the left field line to drive in the winning run.

Summer (2016):
Boras hit .295 for the Sacramento Heat over the summer.  He scored 17 runs and drove in 16 in his 25 games there.  Boras also stole seven bases in eight attempts.

Junior (2016):
Boras became a regular starter for the first time in his career, starting in center 26 times for Pacific.  He hit .261/.327/.307 in his 38 games, picking up his first two extra-base hits with two triples on the season.  When coming off the bench, Boras hit .333.  Boras set career highs in every offensive category, picking up his first nine RBI.

Summer (2015):
Boras hit .385 for the Los Angeles Brewers of the California Collegiate Independent League this summer, good for second on the team.

Sophomore (2015):
Hampered by an injury, Boras saw limited action off the bench for the Tigers as the second-year Tiger appeared in 13 games. He finished the year with a pair of runs scored and one stolen base while tallying three at bats. 

Freshman (2014):
In his first season, Boras was used as the Tigers'' primary pinch-runner, coming off the bench in 11 contests. He ended the season with a pair of runs scored while at the plate he went 1-for-4 and was hit by a pitch. His first collegiate hit came against Oregon State on Feb. 16 in the Tigers'' first tournament of the season.

High School:
Boras graduated from Jesuit High in Sacramento. As a senior, he was limited to just 12 at bats due to injury. As a junior, Boras and the Marauders finished the year 20-8 overall and 12-3 in league play as Jesuit finished second in the Delta River League.

Personal:
Jimmy is the son of James Boras Jr.  He has one twin sister, Jenna, who attends San Diego.  Jimmy is the nephew of MLB agent and former Pacific baseball player Scott Boras.  His father, James, played football at Cal State East Bay while in college.
