Los Angeles, Calif. – The Pacific men's tennis team won their final match of the regular season with a 4-3 win over No. 75 Loyola Marymount in West Coast Conference play on Saturday, April 18. The Tigers improved to 9-16 overall and 6-3 in WCC action, while Loyola Marymount fell to 13-10 overall and 3-6 in WCC play. Pacific finished league play in a tie for third place.
The Tigers took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Pacific went on to win three singles encounters by Miguel Diaz, Jose Chamba, and Marlon Brand to secure the match victory.
"I am very proud of the response after our match yesterday." said Head Coach Ryan Redondo, "We still have a lot of work to do and need to get better for the WCC Tourney."
The Tigers are next in action on Wednesday, April 22 at the West Coast Conference Championships in San Diego. The match time and opponent is to be announced.
