Sacramento, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team picked up its first win of the year with a 6-1 victory on the road at Sacramento State on Saturday, Feb. 21. The Tigers are now 1-8, while Sacramento State dropped to 2-4.
The Tigers took the doubles point by getting wins from Alex Hamilton and Miguel Diaz at No. 1 and Sem Verbeek and Jose Chamba at No. 2. The Tigers had straight set singles wins from Diaz at No. 1, Hamilton at No. 3, and Chamba at No. 4 on the way to winning five of the six singles matches.
The Tigers are next in action with the Pacific Mountain Invitational on Friday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, March 1 in Stockton.
