Santa Barbara, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team wrapped up the UCSB Classic Sunday with a doubles victory as Lance Ngo and Kumara Pardha Adavelly teamed up for a consolation win.
Ngo and Adavelly defeated UC Santa Barbara's Chase Masciorini and Riley Scott, 8-1, in a consolation pool play match. Adavelly had been in a tandem with Bernardo Oliveira, but teamed with Ngo for the consolation match when Oliveira withdrew due to injury.
In singles, Oliveira was forced to pull out of the third place match of Flight B against Luke Bohuslav of Loyola Marymount.
In consolation singles, Ngo fell to Tommy Lam of UC Davis, 6-1, 6-2 and Adavelly fell to Bohuslav, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3.
The Tigers will be back in action at the ITA Northwest Regionals, October 22-27 in Seattle, hosted by the University of Washington.

Pacific's Bernardo Oliveira moved onto the semifinals of Flight B but will settle for a third-place match appearance for the men's tennis team as he split his action at the UCSB Classic Saturday.
Oliveira advanced to the semis with a quarterfinal win over Chase Masciorini of host UC Santa Barbara in Flight B, pulling a 7-5, 6-3 victory. But in the semis, he was denied by Andrew Riminton of UCSB, 6-2, 6-4.
Oliveira will face Luke Bohuslav of Loyola Marymount in the third place match of Flight B on Sunday.
Lance Ngo fought Jamie Thorp of Loyola Marymount in the quarterfinals of Flight C, taking the first set 7-6, before Thorp rallied 7-6, 6-3 to advance. Ngo was then downed by Brent Chin of Oregon, 6-2, 7-5. Ngo will meet Tommy Lam of UC Davis in the seventh place match Sunday.
Kumara Pardha Adavelly defeated Alberto Reyes of Oregon in the Flight B Consolation quarters, but was topped by Bryce McKelvie of UC Davis, 7-6, 7-5. Adavelly will meet
Jesse Ross in the the 11th place match on Sunday.
Adavelly and Oliveira fell 8-7 in a tight consolation doubles match against Oliver Sec and Miles Seeman of UCSB in Flight B.
The UCSB Classic features athletes from Cal, Fresno State, Loyola Marymount, Oregon, Stanford, UC Davis, UCLA, and host UC Santa Barbara.

Oliveria defeated Jesse Ross of UC Davis, 6-3, 6-3 in Flight B singles. Also in Flight B, junior Kumara Pardha Adavelly dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Nathan Eshmade of UC Santa Barbara.
Ngo posted a victory over Jordan Smith of Cal in Flight C, 6-3, 6-4.
In doubles play, Adavelly and Oliveira fell in Flight B to Bartosz Sawicki and Cormac Clissold of Oregon, 8-4.
On Saturday, Oliveira will face Chase Masciorini of UCSB in the quarterfinals of Flight B.
Ngo will meet Jamie Thorp of Loyola Marymount in the quarterfinals of Flight C.
Adavelly will play Alberto Reyes of Oregon in the Flight B Consolation quarters.
