Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Track team will head to the Johnny Mathis Invite in San Francisco on Saturday. The event will feature 342 male and female track athletes from both Division I and II schools throughout Northern California.

Pacific will be competing in seven different events at the event, hosted by San Francisco State.

In the 1500 meters event, senior Cassi Rush, junior Mia Knipper, sophomores Becky Grabow and Jessica Guerra as well as freshman Myra Lakdawala will represent the Tigers.

The 400 meter dash will feature junior Sarah Bailey while the 800 meter competition will see Lakdawala and Guerra represent the Tigers.

The 5000 meter race will feature sophomores Lauren Nakaso, Grace McManus, Dale Dong and freshman Megan Hall. The Tigers will also feature a relay team featuring Bailey, Guerra, Knipper and Ladkawala.  '

Senior Lia Genovese will represent the Orange and Black in the high jump while Malaya Cabrera, Matti Long, Sandra Padilla and Ebony Ezeji, members of the Pacific Women's Soccer team in the fall, will compete in the 100 meters.
