Career Stats

2013-14 (Sophomore): Dong''s highlights included setting a new personal record in the 5K distance and the 6K distance. The 5K mark came at the Hornet Jamboree in September, as she finished with a time of 21:42.80, good for 36th overall. The 6K mark fell at the Bronco Invite in October, as Dong finished in 26:06.3. She finished the season at the WCC Championships 6K in November, crossing the finish line in 26:47.

Track 2013:
Dong''s freshman track campaign included a strong showing at the SF State Distance Carnival, where she finished second on the team in the two-mile run in 13:43.60. 

2012-13 (Freshman):
Dong opened her career with her best 5K time of the season at the USF Invitational, clocking in with a finish of 23:37.80. Then, Dong set her personal record in the 6K at the Sonoma State Invite with a time of 28:45 on September 22.

High School:
Dong attended Lincoln High School in Stockton where she ran cross country and track, and played badminton and lacrosse. She earned three varsity letters and was a senior captain of her cross country squad. Academically, Dong was a distinguished senior scholar and graduated with honors as an AP Scholar. 

Personal:
Dale is the daughter of Qingwen and Xiaobing. Her father is an accomplished Communications professor at the University of the Pacific. While at Pacific, she plans to study Pre-Pharmacy. When she is not training, Dale enjoys playing the clarinet, camping and being outdoors, and eating pineapple.
