Eugene, Ore. - Finishing play at the 2013 Oregon Duck Invitational, the Pacific Golf team completed their two-day tournament in ninth place overall on Tuesday, Mar. 26. With a final round 297, +9, the Tigers closed out their tournament at +24 with a three-round total of 888. Overall, the tournament was taken by the host Ducks for the second-straight year as Oregon finished at -6, 858.
Individually, the senior, Alex Edfort, proved to be the Tigers' most consistent golfer at the Eugene Country Club as he posted his third-consecutive even-par, 72 during Tuesday's final round. Throughout the day, Edfort was even keel as the senior posted 16 pars on the round while balancing a late bogey with an early birdie. With three 72's over his two days of play, Edfort took home a top-10 finish as he finished in a tie with three other golfers for 10th overall at 216.
Pacific will play its final tune-up round before its final Big West Championships on Monday, April 8 - Tuesday, April 9 as the Tigers head to the Gary Koch Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
