Tulsa, Okla. - Pacific's top doubles pair of Daniel Alameh and Sem Verbeek dropped a third round match to Hunter Koontz and Joao Monteiro of Virginia Tech at the ITA Men's All-American Championships on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Alameh and Verbeek fell by a count of 8-3 in Wednesday's match.

"Today's loss was very disappointing," said Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "This definitely demonstrated where we need to improve as a team. I am sure this one stings but is also very motivating more than anything for the Tigers! We have a lot more work to do back home."

Alameh and Verbeek along with the rest of the Tigers will be in action at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego and the UC Davis Invitational in Davis.
