Stockton, Calif.-
The Tigers got off to a rough start having dropped the doubles point to the Lions with a final of 2-1 in the doubles events. The Tigers however did manage to secure the No. 2 position with confidence as
Ivan Castro and
Alex Golding dominated over their opponents. All the doubles events were exceedingly fast paced and they were all packed with action as well as excitement.
In the singles events, Pacific gained momentum, but they were only able to secure three wins which put them one off the win for the entire match. Senior
Ivan Castro, freshman
Ben Mirkin, and freshman
Alex Hamilton all were able to dominate against their opponents and secure wins for their team.
The Tigers will now prepare for their match against Saint Mary's College which is scheduled to take place on February 12th at 1pm at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
