Seattle, Wash.-
The Tigers faced stiff competition as they went up against the University of Washington Huskies. Pacific put up quite a fight right from the start, however, the Tigers couldn't pull through in the doubles events. Though they couldn't manage the doubles point win, the Tigers all had very solid scores and forced Washington to work for every point.
In the Singles events, the Tigers continued to strive for success against the Huskies, however, they couldn't manage the win. The Tigers will now prepare for their first home match against UC Davis which will take place on January, 28th at the Hal Nelson Tennis courts in Stockton, Calif. After having played Idaho and Washington, they now feel more prepared for what the season entails.
At the conclusion of the match, Coach Redondo stated, "I am encouraged with some of the things I saw today and this weekend. We are going in a positive direction and I strongly believe we are right there with any team. We are looking forward to our next match at home versus UC Davis. Come out and support your Tigers!"
