Bremerton, Wash. - Due to inclement weather cancelling the opening day of play at the Kikkor Husky Invitational, the Pacific golf team was one of eight teams to withdraw from the tournament due to academic concerns.  

With the tournament being pushed back, the Tigers, along with seven other squads, chose to withdraw from the tournament with the hopes of scheduling a different two-day tournament in the future.  Pacific's replacement tournament has yet to be decided.

With the loss of play at the Kikkor Husky Invitational, the Pacific golf team will next be in action on October 17 when it travels to Fairfax, Calif. to take part in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational.  The two day event is hosted by Cal and will take place at the Meadow Club courses.
