Tigers In Second Place After Second Round At Big West Championship

Mission Viejo, Calif. -

The Tiger men's golf team is in second place after the first two rounds of the Big West Championship at Mission Viejo Country Club on Monday, May 3. Pacific hung tough in the middle of the pack throughout the day, but the Tigers buckled down in the afternoon and trail only top ranked UC Irvine heading into the final round.

UC Irvine finished the day at even par with the Tigers at +15 for the first 36 holes. Junior Patrick Kucich (Stockton, Calif.) led the way for the Tigers with a second round two-under 70 on his way to his current fourth place position. Junior T.J. Bordeaux (Tacoma, Wash.) is right behind him at one-over par in sixth place. Final round play begins Tuesday, May 4 at 8:00 a.m.
