Tigers Claw Back Against Saint Mary's

April 13, 2010

Moraga, Calif. - Dropping the doubles point did not affect the Pacific men's tennis team's singles performance against Saint Mary's Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers came back and took the match 5-2 to earn their second straight win. Pacific is now 7-10 overall this season.

Vegerd Veskimagi (Saku, Estonia) and Karl-Erik Paaro (Tallinn, Estonia) earned the Tigers lone doubles win. They defeated Gerald Ellison and Matt Welty 8-2.

Pacific pulled out wins at the top four positions to secure the victory. The Tigers return home on April 17 to face Big West rival UC Davis. Match time is scheduled for 10 a.m.
