Eugene, Ore. - Behind a final round 74, freshman T.J. Bordeaux captured the individual Oregon Duck Classic title, finishing the three round tournament at 210, five strokes ahead of the competition. As a team, Pacific completed the tournament in a tie for fourth place with a three round score of 886.
Bordeaux's tournament win marks the first time a Pacific golfer has taken a tournament individual title since Matt Hansen won the Stevinson Ranch Invitational in 2003. Bordeaux finished the two day tournament with scores of 68-68-74, 210, to finish the Classic at 6-under par.
Senior A.J. Hohn had an impressive tournament with his lowest career finish at 21st. He shot rounds of 72-76-76 and freshman Alex Johnson tied for 33rd with scores of 71-79-76. Junior Charlie Van Sicklen posted scores of 76-78-77 and Chris Rosenau shot 74-87-74.
The Tigers will hit the links again on Monday, April 7, as they start play at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado in Stevinson Ranch, Calif.
