Eugene, Ore. - The Pacific Golf team is just five strokes off the lead at Emerald Valley Country Club in Creswell, Oregon. Freshman T.J. Bordeaux leads the individual race after posting back-to-back rounds of 68.
As a team the Tigers are just five strokes back of first place behind San Diego State with 18 holes left to play tomorrow morning.
Senior A.J. Hohn is in 16th place with rounds of 72-76 and Alex Johnson is right behind at 71-79. Charlie Van Sicklen posted 76-78 and Chris Rosenau entered at 74-87.
"Its not a suprise to be in the position that we're in right now," said coach Brandon Goethals. "The guys have worked to give themselves opportunities and now we're just executing."
The Tigers finish tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 8:00 am.
