The Pacific golf team surged back from 13th place after two rounds to finish the Fresno Lexus Classic in fifth place. Freshman T.J. Bordeaux led the Tigers with a 12th place finish at Fort Washington Golf and Country Club.
The Tigers, after having posted opening round of 287 and 293, responded with a final round 282, to finish at 862. Bordeaux continued to lead the Tigers as he posted a 73-68-71=212 for his fifth Top 20 individual finish this season. Chris Rosenau and A.J. Hohn both closed out the tournament with even-par 216's. Both seniors shot one-under the first day while Rosenau finished with a 71-73 and Hohn, a 76-69.
"I was really proud of the way this team finished today," said head coach Brandon Goethals. "We are really starting to execute the things that we need to in order to be successful."
Freshman Alex Johnson finished at four-over 220 with rounds of 74-76-70. Junior Charlie Van Sicklen shot scores of 72-82-74=228.
