Long Beach, California -
The Pacific golf team got solid contributions from everyone during the first day of the Del Walker Intercollegiate in Long Beach, and that contribution translated into the second best round ever for the Tigers, 276. The eight-under par round for the team came courtesy of 68's by both Alex Grieb and TJ Bordeaux and a 69 from freshman Robert Perrott.
Sophomore Patrick Kucich posted a 68 in the morning and had help from Alex Johnson, 70. The Tigers' one-under in the morning combined with the afternoon's 276 gave them a 559 total for the two-day tournament. That matched last years' 36-hole total where the Tigers went on to finish in second.
Pacific concludes their fourth tournament of the fall Friday morning with a final 18 at Virginia Country Club.
