Tigers Fall To San Francisco 6-0 In Men's Tennis Action

April 14, 2007

San Francisco, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team fell to San Francisco (USF), 6-0, on Saturday, April 14. With the loss the Tigers dropped to 2-16 on the season.

In singles, the Tigers struggled to find their game, dropping all six singles competitions to USF. Freshman Vegerd Veskimagi (Saku, Estonia), playing at No. 2 singles, started off strong taking the first set of his match with Thong Tu, 5-7. However, Tu captured the second set, 6-1, and the tie-breaking third, 1-0 (4), to come away with the win.

Pacific will be back in action Tuesday, April 17, as they travel to Stanford to take on the Cardinal. The match is slated to begin at 5:00 pm.
