Pacific Downed By No. 27 Boise State, 7-0

Boise, Idaho - The Pacific Tigers' men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to No. 27 Boise State on Friday, Mar. 9.

With the loss the Tigers fell to 0-7 on the season, while Boise State moved to 12-4 overall.

Sophomore Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) just missed earning a victory for the Tigers at the No. 1 position as he fell to Piotr Dilaj, 7-6, 6-7, 1-0 (4) in a tiebreaker. After Starke fought back to claim the second set, the match was determined with the tiebreaker.

The Tigers will be back in action later tonight as they play the singles matches of a split match against New Mexico State at 7 p.m. The doubles portion of the match with the Lobos will be played on Saturday, Mar. 10 at 10:30 a.m.
