Tigers fall to No. 58 New Mexico, 6-1

Boise, Idaho - The Pacific men's tennis team dropped a match by a 6-1 score for the sixth time this season as the Tigers lost to No. 58 New Mexico on Friday, Mar. 10 in their second of three matches at the Boise State Invitational.

The loss dropped Pacific to 0-8 on the season, while New Mexico moved to 9-1 overall.

Sophomore Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) moved to 6-2 on the season as he earned a straight set victory over Max Jones at the No. 1 position. Starke is the only Tiger during the 2007 spring season to earn a victory in singles play.

Pacific will be back in action later on Saturday, Mar. 10 as the Tigers face Idaho in their final match at the Boise State Invitational.
