The Pacific men's golf team finished in 11th place at the Pacific Invitational at Brookside Country Club in Stockton, Calif. on Wednesday, Nov. 7. For full results, go to http://www.pacificinvitational.com.
No. 1 Charlotte rallied from a six stroke deficit with three holes to play to get the team victory. The 49ers shot a 824 for the tournament, 40 under par. Kansas State finished second, with a 38 under par 826.
Individually, Stefan Wiedergruen of Charlotte finished in first place, with a 17-under-par 199. Grant Doverspike of Fresno State shot a 14-under-par 202 to finish in second place. Northern Colorado's Steven Bidne got a hole-in-one on hole 12.
Freshman T.J. Bordeaux (Tacoma, Wash.) paced the Tigers with a 25th place finish, shooting a 213 for the tournament. Freshman Alex Johnson (Tucson, Ariz.). finished in 36th with a 215.
The Tigers are next in action at the UH Hilo Invitational in Kona in February.
