Scottsdale, Arizona - The Pacific golf team is in 15th place at the end of the second round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sophomore Chris Rosenau shot a first-round two-under 68, sitting in 30th place after the first day.

The Tigers opened the first round with a 293 at Talking Stick's North Course and followed up with a 295 to finish with a 588, 36-hole score. In addition to Rosenau's 142, sophomore A.J. Hohn carded a 76 and 71 at the 7,133-yard, par 70 course. Freshman Adam Beckman and Charles Van Sicklen both posted first day scores of 150 to tie for 81st in the Cleveland Golf sponsored tournament. Thomas Petersson rounded out the Pacific field, shooting a 76-75.

New Mexico State leads the 21-team tournament after the first two rounds, posting scores of 280 and 279. Two players shot three-under 137's on the first day of play; New Mexico State's Danny Bowen and Kennesaw State's Nick Drane.

The teams head out to the North Course for a final-round 18 at 8:00 am Tuesday morning.
